11- The International Air Transport Association:
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is
a trade association of the world’s airlines. It supports the
airline activity and helps in formulating the airline industry's
policy and standards.
IATA is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec – Canada with
many executive offices in different countries around the
world.
(A) History of IATA:
1- In 1919: The air transport union was founded and its
memberships were only confined to the European
airlines.
2- In 1929: the developed official union of air transport
was founded.
