food safety auditor means a person approved as a food safety
auditor under the Act as a person competent to audit the
relevant class of food business.
A food safety auditor is a person approved under the state or
territory food Act where the business is located to carry out a
food safety audit for a particular class of business. For
example, an auditor may be approved to audit seafood
businesses but not hospitals. This is because the audit
competencies required are different for these types of
businesses.
