dispersing. But this action was insufficient. Six days in the week
it belonged to the bosses. Indeed, they continued to remove prop-
erty from the factory. Because of this, on 28 April 2013 the work-
ers opened a resistance tent in front of the factory.

Their demands were for four months’ wages, seniority and

notice, work and leave payments. The employers paid them no
        heed.

It was necessary to step up the resistance to make them pay
attention. The DIH told the Kazova workers of earlier resistance
that achieved victory with this aim in mind. It explained how vic-
tory had been achieved. Previously most Kazova workers had not
taken part in an action, never chanted slogans, and had even not

factory in order to step up the resistance. Some workers accepted
the proposal but others did not think it legitimate or thought it
impossible. In the end, after a long period of persuasion, the first
attempt to occupy was unsuccessful. A few weeks later, on 28 June,
the second occupation attempt succeeded in occupying the fac-

        tory.

The bosses had paid no heed to the workers, but after the oc-
cupation they suddenly appeared, with the goal of breaking the
resistance. The AKP’s police were not on the side of the workers
who rights had been taken, they were at the beck and call of the
thieving bosses. They were against the workers from the first.

It was a crime for resisting workers to resist, to carry out ac-
