into production for themselves. But the machines had been made
unusable. Despite a lack of means and money, they succeeded in
repairing machines in the space of one and a half months. They
got two machines working and started to enter into production
for themselves.
The Somuncus had stolen materials from the workers, and
the machines they did not remove were made into a fake company
and transferred there. The Kazova firm had operated for about 30
years and a wall with a building almost directly adjacent was torn
down and and a new section created by plastering up a new wall.
A fake company was established here. It is given the name NES
TRIKO and the owner of the firm appeared to be a certain Ab-
dulkadir Nergis, who had recently come to work at Kazova.
It came out that together with this move, the Somuncu family
actually operated several firms. The manufacture of sweaters was
carried out at Kazova A.S with the sale being conducted at
Bomonti and Nisantasi, also registered as Kazova Ltd. The finan-
cial system of Kazova A.S. as well as its valuable electronic weaving
machinery’s invoice, was turned over to Abdulkadir Nergis. After
two months of activity by Abdulkadir Nergis at NES TRIKO, at
the end of January 2013 he reverted to Kazova Ltd. Thi firm
changed its name to Midyatli Ltd, and the Somuncu family’s
shares were also ransferred. So a cunning system for seizing and
removing material was established. But again, it was not done ac-
cording to the law. Everyone here understood the trick, though
they did not understand the laws on collusion. That is, workers
who had worked machines for 30 years were to be left standing by
as they were removed (by the bosses). The aim of the workers here
