Here are some facts about Chamomile, and how a few

                    simple cups of tea can so greatly benefit your health,
                   and alleviate many unpleasant symptoms and ailments.




                                 Anxiety, Insomnia, and Depression;
                      Chamomile has many health benefits. It is primarily

                     known for its calming effect on the nervous system,

                     and its usefulness in relieving insomnia, it has been
                        used for this purpose throughout centuries. The

                   ancient Roman, Egyptian and Greek cultures knew the
                     calming benefits of Chamomile. Chamomile helps to

                    relieve anxiety and nervous feelings; it also helps to
                   relieve depression. It has a light sedative effect, which

                    relaxes the muscles, including the brain muscles, and

                   therefore allows for a better quality of sleep, and helps
                               those who have trouble falling asleep.




                                                 Abdominal pain
                     Chamomile is also known for soothing abdominal pain

                       and discomfort, for aiding in proper digestion, for
                   helping to cure a stomach ache, to provide some relief

                       to those suffering from irritable bowel syndrome,
                        muscle spasms,             inflammation of the intestines,

                       making it very useful when experiencing stomach

                      troubles . A study done in England discovered that
                   drinking Chamomile tea raised glycine levels in urine,

                   glycine calms muscle spasms, which is most likely why

                         chamomile even aids in the relief of menstrual
                     cramps.        It helps to reduce the bloating, discomfort

                      and gas related to irritable bowel syndrome, and is
                     particularly effective when mixed with peppermint.

                     The combination of chamomile and peppermint also
                    helps digestion. Chamomile helps to sooth a stomach
