Chamomile helps with diabetes by lowering the blood

sugar level, without effecting the insulin system. A

study done by the diabetes research center reported
that those who were having chamomile tea daily were

able to drop their blood sugar level by a quarter, and a
study reported in the journal of agriculture and food

chemistry reported that chamomile may regulate blood
sugar. U.K and Japanese researchers who gave

Chamomile extract to diabetic rats reported that it

seemed to cut down blood sugar levels,. The diabetes
research center conducted a study which showed that

those who were drinking chamomile tea on a daily

basis were able to lower their blood sugar level by a
quarter. Chamomile can positively effect the blood

sugar level without effecting the insulin system,
making it a great choice for anyone suffering from

diabetes. Chamomile also blocks the activity of an
enzyme associated with the development of

complications due to diabetes. It is also said to be

helpful in the treatment of hypoglycemia . Those who
have diabetes should have a few cups of chamomile

tea on a daily basis.

Hemorrhoids

Chamomile ointment can be used to aid in the
treatment of hemorrhoids, as can a chamomile tea bag

applied directly to the affected area, or put into a bath.
