THE IMPORTANCE OF TAKING NOTES AS YOU WORK
What if you got an intriguing postcard in the mail and you
couldn’t tell where it came from because there was no
message on the back?
That’s what it’s like to create a lovely small work with
beautiful colors but having no clue as to how you got those
effects. Without notes, you can’t revisit it.
Always keep a notebook or sketchbook handy to jot notes
as you work. Even if it says just “quin gold + payne’s gray =
awesome” it will help you remember where that particular
color came from when you want to repeat it.
If you like, you can work directly on the downloadable
Postcard Back Template Sheets that come with this eBook,
and then just stick them on when you’re finished. The notes
are for YOU, and no one else, unless you want to share how
you made something work.
