Millennium Magic Chorus
Millennium Magic has been learning what life is like post peak pandemic. We are coming out on the
other side and learning as we go as to what we, the region, and the organization might look like. We did
another virtual chorus with MM’ers and various guests who joined our zoom rehearsals for several weeks.

We transitioned in June from regular zooming to mostly in person rehearsing. We kicked it off with a
weekend retreat in Portland, ME hosted by Laura Russell and Lala Carey. We did a lot of self coaching
on our two new contest pieces and reviewed our repertoire. Saturday evening we gave a neighborhood
performance which brought people out to their front lawns to listen for about 20 minutes. It felt great to
perform again! We also welcomed new member Jana McDorr who sings lead. She’s part of our ooter
contingent from Maine and we’re thrilled to have her!
