1. Place the butter in a large mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer on low
speed until fluffy, 30 seconds. Stop the machine and add the confectioners’ sugar
and 2 tablespoons of the orange juice. Blend with the mixer on low speed until
the sugar is incorporated, 1 minute. Stir in the orange marmalade. Increase the
speed to medium and beat until light and fluffy, 1 minute more. Blend in up to 1
tablespoon more orange juice if the frosting seems too stiff.
2. Use to frost the cupcakes of your choice.

Vary the intensity of the marmalade flavor by using different marma lades.
Supermarket marmalade tends to be milder, whereas Scottish marmalade is
stronger. Try using lemon or lime marmalade, too.
