Chocolate Pie

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cube butter -- melted
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa
2 eggs -- beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
Add ingredients to melted butter, pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake 325
for 35-45 minutes. Mine was done in 35 minutes. Do not test with tooth
pick as it is supposed to be moist inside. NO milk goes in this pie and
you can make this crustless too, it comes out perfect. Serve with
whipping cream, cool whip or ice cream.
I am so happy you posted this!! I had this recipe over 25 years ago and
been looking for it for years. I made this without the crust as that is
how it was given to me. It was marvelous served slightly warm with a scoop
of vanilla ice cream or even whipped cream. Not as heavy as a brownie but,
oh so good. The best think is it uses the ingredients I always have on
hand and goes together very quickly. I did butter the pie pan thoroughly,
though.
