HOMEWORK: The purpose of homework is to extend the work of the school day and to develop good study habits
by stimulating a positive, intrinsic work ethic, initiative, independence, responsibility, and self-direction. Thus,
students will be assigned homework throughout the week. When assigned, homework is expected to be completed
as an extension of the day’s lesson.

LOST AND FOUND: We maintain a lost and found area at our school. To minimize lost articles, please put your
child’s name on items of clothing which he/she may remove. (Remember to practice safety, and don’t display
children’s names where strangers may see!)
All unclaimed articles are donated to a local charity. Remind your child to check the lost and found if he/she is
missing something.
