     District recognitions

     Kyla Jeter - Pacolet Elementary School teacher, is the recipient of a DonorsChoose grant
     “Let’s Go, LEGO, Let’s Go!!”

     Molly O’Dell – Middle School of Pacolet teacher, is the recipient of a DonorsChoose grant
     entitled “Calculating with Confidence.”

     Carol  Stephen  -  Middle  School  of  Pacolet    and  Cannons  Elementary  teacher,  is  the
     recipient of a DonorsChoose grant entitled “Breaking Out to High Expectations.”

     Carmen  Rebekah  O’Dell  -  Cowpens  Middle  School  teacher  is  the  recipient  of  two
     DonorsChoose grants entitled “Libros en Mi Clase” and “Furniture with Focus.”

     Lynn Fleming – Broome High School teacher and football coach, has been recognized by
     the Spartanburg Reading Council as a nominee for the 2017-2018 South Carolina State
     Council of International Reading Association’s Literacy Award.

     Pam Flynn – Broome High School teacher, has been chosen to participate in the spring
     2018  STAR  seminar  through  the  Foundation  for  Professional  Development,  Palmetto
     Teachers Association.
