Robert Spark’s Electricity II at Daniel Morgan
Technology Center classes didn’t waste any
time getting back to work after the holiday
break!
Daniel Morgan Technology Center has a
new literacy lounge open for business
where students can relax with a good
book or article about careers of
interest. We are excited about helping
promote a healthy appreciation for
reading! Baron Beckham from Broome
High School was the first visitor to the
center. Good job, Baron!
Daniel Morgan Technology Center student,
Ani’ya Byrd, is back for Culinary Arts
II. Students reacquainted themselves to
kitchen life, preparing flat-iron steak with
pureed potatoes and sautéed spinach.
David Thornton’s Programming and Software
Development classes at Daniel Morgan
Technology Center went on a field trip to the
QS/1 headquarters in Spartanburg. Students
were able to observe first-hand the information
they are currently learning in class being
applied in a workplace environment. Students
toured each floor of the QS/1 building where
they saw programmers, system
administrators, system analysts, web
designers and the executive suite.
