Broome High School
Mary Carson Dowis has been crowned 2018 Miss Centurion for Broome High
School! Winners in all categories are as follows: Miss Centurion-Mary
Carson Dowis, Miss Senior-Daylan Jolley, Miss Junior-Sarah Beth Woodfin,
Miss Sophomore-Casey Quinn, Miss Freshman-Promise Henry, Miss Broome
High School-Promise Henry, Talent Winner-Casey Quinn, Most Photogenic-
Daylan Jolley, Scholastic Achievement Award-Kinsleigh Fulgham, and Casual
Wear, Evening Gown and Interview Winner-Mary Carson Dowis.
The Broome High School / middle school wrestling
team capped off a great season with a 48-30 win
over region foe, Chapman. The win sealed the
second consecutive region championship for the
young Centurions. Carmello Cristales, a student at
Middle School of Pacolet, led the team with a
convincing pin at the 155 weight class.
Congratulations to the Broome High
School wrestling team as they
defeated Chapman 84-0 to claim the
Region III AAA Championship.
