Cowpens Elementary School
Cowpens Elementary school students assembled 120
chart puzzles. They worked with a partner to
reconstruct the chart in order to build their number
sense and improve number recognition.
Cowpens Elementary School second
graders wrote about their dreams of love
and friendship in honor of Dr. Martin
Luther King’s legacy.
Eight fifth graders at Cowpens
Elementary School were
recently inducted into the
Junior Beta Club.
Second graders at Cowpens Elementary
School wrote and illustrated autobiographies
to practice using nonfiction text
features. Their work included a table of
contents, maps, diagrams, graphs, timelines,
headings, captions, and glossaries.
