• As a proportion of hospital activity, Geriatrics

comprises of 28% of Providence’s Rehab
and CCC volumes.

• Providence has 22% of the market share in

Toronto Central and Central East LHINs as
well as 12% of the market share from Central
LHIN.

• The Scarborough Hospital is the top referrer for geriatric rehab patients, followed by Michael
Garron Hospital, Scarborough General. SMH is also a top referrer, comparable to MGH and
Scarborough General. Compared to SMH, SJHC has ~10% of the geriatric rehab referral
volumes.

• Within the TC LHIN, Providence is the top recipient of Geriatric rehab referrals.

• Most Geriatric rehab patients are discharged with home care or ambulatory care services.
