y world: one filled with the magic of bridal bliss, more importantly, a
world built of everlasting family values.
I am Lillian Bowdring, owner of three successful bridal boutiques aka,
M affectionately known as the Bride Whisperer for my beloved brides.
As a child, I wanted to become schoolteacher, but the Universe contained other
plans for me with starting a family-run business. My beloved husband and I
worked together for the first two years of the business until he passed away. I am
the mother of three incredible children. My two youngest daughters Dorothy
and Lyia began working at the boutique at the age of twelve years old and fell in
love with it. Sixteen years later, Lyia just opened our third location in Regina,
Saskatchewan while becoming the creative cornerstone of our company.
Dorothy manages the Edmonton location. She has created her own accessory
line which is now being carried in all three locations. My third daughter Kara
created the marketing strategies for our business. She has recently pursued
her entrepreneurial passion by opening her own health and wellness clinic.
Family is the driving strength and energy within the business and will
eventually be handed down to my daughters who love it as much as I do.

The amazing women who enter our shop are each individually
catered to. We spend a lot of quality time with each bride to
ensure that that the experience becomes much more than “saying
yes to the dress.” The gown that each bride chooses will tell
her story and yield that “WOW Factor” to everyone who has
the honor of engaging with her, especially the groom-to-be.
Each body type is extraordinary and we take so much heart in
establishing that the dress is proportionate, stylish and glamorous
to all of our women on their unforgettable day.
My passion for the work that I do goes beyond the physical
boutique. I believe in accommodating all budgets, so I have an on-
line store along with the shop where dresses are available for whatever
price range the bride decides on to help make their day extraordinary.
I believe in giving back. I love providing to multiple charities, festivals
and hospitals. I am on the committee of Lois Hole Women’s Hospital
Society which fills my heart. I have also been given an absolute gift with
being invited to several weddings of the many wonderful brides I have had
the pleasure of serving.
With work and bridal magic, we will continue to build our bridal legacy-
one bride at a time.
