Employees’ Positive Impressions
of LTHC
Employees continue their work for a variety of reasons, but there growth
are a few underlying themes which keep employees motivated to
work for LTHC. Many employees cited the growth of LTHC
as a proud benchmark of the success of the outreach that the
organization has done for its guests. The addition of new roles
within the organization are a source of motivation for employees,
because it shows them growth but also highlights LTHC’s mission
for helping people overcome homelessness through effective pro-
grams.

Accessibility is another feature of LTHC of which employees
are proud. “We’re here and available and ready to listen and give for guests
them assistance and assess their situation,” said one employee. In
addition to accessibility, employees appreciate that LTHC goes be-
yond providing housing and helps its guests overcome barriers that
can cause homelessness. LTHC helps guests find jobs and connects
them with available housing within Lafayette that provides the
guests with successful paths forward. LTHC’s Residence Programs
provide the guests who experience chronic homelessness with a
path to permanent housing. connections
For the employees of LTHC, it is the connections that they with guests
make with their guests along with the real help that they are
providing them that make them proud to work at LTHC.
The employees expressed their satisfaction with the programs that
LTHC has in place and emphasized that the organization’s con-
tinued growth helps provide meaningful experiences between
the guests and the employees. In line with the mission of LTHC,
employees are actively trying to end homelessness in Tippecanoe
County.
