with them that had sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest,

but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not

enter in because of unbelief.

When the children of Israel became disobedient to God he sent

fiery serpents among them. Moses placed a Brazen Serpent in

the midst of the people. If they looked upon it they would be

healed, if not they perished. The serpents were the sin of the

people destroying them.

The Brazen Serpent represented Jesus becoming sin and

paying for it on the cross. The church of Jesus Christ is not an

anything goes church. It is a church of Holiness and obedience.

People that use the phrase, I don’t see anything wrong with it,

are fallen and blind. Faith is obeying God without understanding

the reason. God will reveal that after you are obedient.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are

my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your

thoughts.

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the

world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak

things of the world to confound the things which are mighty
