Can You See What I am Saying?

It has been a question in my mind for a long time as to why

people have such a problem understanding what I am saying. I

am simple in my speech and to the point but some will say: “so

you are saying”, and then repeat words that never came from my

mouth. I now realize that there is a language barrier that exists

that has nothing to do with the language itself, but the

metaphorical definition of what I am saying and what they are

hearing. I am a Native American and through my study of my

heritage I have found the language and mental understanding of

ancient peoples are made up of metaphorical symbols. These

symbols represented language, pictures of what they were

saying. So coined the term “I see what you are saying”. If you

can see what I am saying, you can make a mental picture in your

mind and then you can understand perfectly my communication

to you. INDIAN CUNEIFORM

The Eagle, the master of the sky, is considered a carrier of

prayers. Many Indian Nations honor this bird as possessing

courage, wisdom, and a special connection to the creator. When

you see this symbol and understand what it represents you know

what the person who is using it is saying with it. Just hearing

words can be misunderstood and cause a problem in

communication. But by watching a movie a person can be

emotionally moved to change their views on a subject because

they see the depth of the problem and the picture is embedded
