cross of Christ to change the world and save the world by their

submission to the Doctrine of The cross.

1 Corinthians 1:23-24 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the

Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But

unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the

power of God, and the wisdom of God. So the cross represents

metaphorically the wisdom of God but the world despises it and

all it represents. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 let no man deceive you by

any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a

falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of

perdition; Jesus said, if the blind lead the blind, they will both

fall in the ditch. In order to stay out of the ditch somebody must

have clear vision. In other words there must be an order or

doctrine to lead us and keep us on the right path. If that can be

established then what people are falling away from can be

clearly established. Jesus has already paved the road to Zion and

it is truly built on a solid foundation. Isaiah 35:8 and an highway

shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of

holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for

those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

The Highway is a metaphor of the path that Jesus made for us to

follow. It is a holy way, a life that is sacrificed by taking up our

metaphorical cross and that is denying ourselves the sinful
