BRINGING OUR CLIENTS’

              VISIONS TO LIFE

If a picture’s worth a thousand words; the modern event
professional’s saying may be, “Diagrams and renderings are
worth a thousand emails.” Our creative experts can design
an event to the client’s exact specifications and meet all of
their goals, but how do you help your client SEE it before it
actually comes to fruition? How do you instill confidence that
you’ve met their needs? On the following pages you’ll see
our creative process and how we build trust by bringing our
clients’ visions to life BEFORE we operate their program.

               CONCEPT
They say even the mightiest oak starts from a single seed,
which is a perfect reflection of how we grow our award-winning
events by beginning with a concept. In addition to learning
what concepts the client has used in their past programs, we
identify the stakeholders in the decision process, the client’s
objectives for the event or program, and the demographics
of their attendees. We use those as the basis for dialogue,
often using images from past Hello! events to communicate
ideas or serve as a springboard for innovation.

               SKETCHES
Once the concept has been developed, our event designers
begin communicating ideas to an artist through concept
photos or rough hand drawings. This is just one of many
ways that having an in-house design team with the National
Resource Group (see page 37) benefits both our employees
and our clients. These sketches serve as a “proof of concept”
to ensure that our vision is in-line with the client’s expectations
before moving to the next step.

               LAYOUTS
While sketches help determine the rough look and size
of objects, layouts are a “true to scale” diagram of how
everything fits in the space. The event designer takes the
extra step of creating these layouts so we can accurately
develop space planning and operational documents. This
step is imperative in being able to show that all elements
work together in the space and can still accommodate the
               necessary room for guests.

               RENDERINGS
All previous efforts have led up to this. Arguably the most
popular with our clients, producing a final rendering is our
highly effective way of communicating our full vision for an
event that we haven’t produced before. We rarely purchase
things sight-unseen as individuals; it’s important to us that
our clients don’t have to wrangle with that uncertainty either.
