My village Salasaka

               The description of food, clothing and traditions that has my people Salasaka. In Salasaka the
               food is very important because the people mainly work the land to produce food for their

               own consumption. The most important crops are potatoes and corn. [The typical dish is the
               guinea pig accompanied by potatoes and lettuce]. The clothes worn by both men and women
               are made with their own hands. [The men's clothing consists of some white shirt and trousers,
               a long and narrow black poncho and a white wool hat, espadrilles or barefoot. The woman
               uses  a  black  skirt,  fastened  with  sashes,  fachalina  black  with  purple,  white  blouse].  The
               Salasaka village has varieties traditions. One of the most important traditions is [the parties
               of Inti Raymi, Paukar Raymi, tzawar mishki, marriage, the making of fabrics]. This town still
               enjoys the hype, the violin and the pingullo, with these instruments liven up their parties,
               singing san juanitos and albazos. Is why [we are recognized nationally and foreigner].
