Deputy General Manager deescalates the misunderstanding and immediately
apologizes to Alonzo. Without further delay, he ushers Alonzo to the Main Dining
Room, and signals and motions one of the Servers over.
“This is not necessary. I have lost my appetite.”
“--Please, Señor Thomas, this one’s on the house.” Then he turns to the Server
and instructs her in Spanish. “Tienen al chef preparar los panqueques y pimienta roja
tostada tortilla con setas, y leche de cabra.”
