INSERT – ALONZO’S TEXT MESSAGE, which reads:
“GOOD MORNING, SWEETHEART. I HOPE YOU’RE DOING WELL
AND STAYING FOCUSED. THANKS FOR THE APP. I LOVE YOU.
-- PAPA.”
Next, he clicks on one of his online music bookmarks, and Barry White’s, “Let
the Music Play,” radiates from the laptop speaker. He gets on his feet and gaits to the
bathroom.
Afterward -- following a well-refreshing shower -- Alonzo throws on
something casual, slips on a pair of navy/hazelnut laid-back loafer, and paces to the
workspace. He checks his laptop and smartphone for any new message. However, in
the absence of new message, he pushes the power button, powers down the laptop,
and grabs his keys; then pockets his smartphone and heads to the door.
