T HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE WEEK FOR ALONZO AFTER MISSING THREE DAYS
of work. Uber placed him on hold because of a lapsed insurance document on
his file. Also, his GPS App isn't functioning due to a low Data plan with a Third-
Party Carrier. Unexpectedly -- he decides to drive that Saturday -- to make up for lost
earnings.
His first trip from an apartment at the intersection of Peachtree Corners and
Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross, Georgia (GA), takes him to a Walmart Neighborhood
Market on Winters Chapel Road in Dunwoody, GA. After the drop-off, he drives to
one of his favorite downtime spot -- a convenience store at the intersection of
Winters Chapel Road and SR-141. He parks steps out and goes in for a cup of hot
vanilla-flavored cappuccino; then waits in his Jeep.
A few minutes later, his smartphone buzzes, and he clicks and accepts the ride
request, which is less than three blocks. When he arrives at Winter Creek
