Apartments, catty-corner from Consulado General De El Salvador, a twenty-
something Asian woman -- wearing a white blouse, a pair of black pants and
matching pumps -- approaches his SUV. Without delay, he parks the vehicle, kills the
ignition and steps down.
"Good morning and happy Saturday, Ma'am," he greets while opening and
holding the rear passenger door.
"Good morning and same to you, "with an appreciative smile. Once seated,
"thank you."
Alonzo gently closes the door, walks around, opens and climbs in, and turns
to the young woman. "I'm Alonzo. Do you have a preferred route, Ma'am?"
She appreciates and picks an interest in his politeness. "I'm Gabriella," she
retorts with a smile. "Thank you for asking, and we can rely on your GPS." She glares
around, "this is a nice ride."
"Thank you." "The App indicates a drop-off address for you in Sandy Springs,"
he continues, "is that the correct destination?"
"Yes, that's correct."
Their conversation continues, gradually gets very fetching and informative --
including conversations about reincarnation -- an area that is very dear to her.
Gabriella proceeds to share with him that she's a Vietnamese-Cambodian American.
She's conspicuously attractive and works as an HR professional for the senior living
home.
