"-- You're a good soul, Alonzo. Continue to do good. That's your nature. Don't
stop being yourself because the Universe has a way of taking care her own." And with
a genuine smile, she stares at him, "I've got to go now."

"Thank you." Alonzo opens the door, steps down, and briskly walk to the other
side of the vehicle; then he opens and holds the door.

"Thank you," she steps down.

"Many thanks, Gabriella. I appreciate meeting you."

"Lady Luck will soon shine on you."

"Thank you, Gabriella. May She shine on you also."

Gabriella walks away -- toward her apartment building -- not looking back.

Alonzo shuts the door, returns to the driver's side, opens the door, climbs in,

pulls the door shut, and starts the ignition; then drives off -- traveling in the direction
of Walmart in Austell, Georgia where he retires for the night
