“So, do you live at the hotel?”
“Yes. There's no water and light in our house ... But Momma said we'll be going
home soon.”
“Bet you're glad you’d be going home soon.”
“Of course, Mr. Alonzo,” and she confidently affirms, “this is where you take a
left. That lane is for the bus riders.”
“I see. Thank you for the heads up.”
“You're welcome, Mr. Alonzo.”
“Well, here we are, Bryana ...” expresses appreciation. “... Thank you for being
a great passenger.”
“You're welcome. I enjoyed the ride, and hope to see you again, Mr. Alonzo.”
“Me too. Happy birthday, Princess Bryana.”
“Thank you, Mr. Alonzo.” Alonzo turns off the ignition. He opens the door,
steps out, and walks to the right rear passenger door. He opens and holds the door.
“Thank you,” she grabs her backpack and climbs down.”
