else. Your current situation, not to minimize it, is no worse than my
sixteen-month experience on the streets of Kansas City, Lafayette and
Atlanta. Neither is it worse than what my great friend and mentor experienced when
he was declared, “Wanted: Dead or Alive.” His wife was even arrested and locked up
in maximum prison for weeks all to lure him to give up and surrender. But, for several
months, he hid in the thick forest -- barefooted -- the only pair of slippers he had on
with him, over the course of time, tore up and eventually wore off.
