220 | N. PAUL ONUZURUIKE
“Yes, Sir. Chilled bottle of Heineken on its way.” The Bartender retrieves and
uncorks a chilled bottle, sits the bottle and an engraved Pilsner glass on the counter.
Placing a couple of napkins underneath the bottle, “Enjoy, Mr. Thomas.”
“Thank you.”
“You're welcome, Mr. Thomas.”
Reaching for his wallet, “how much do I owe you?”
But the Bartender shakes his head, “this one's on the house, Sir.”
“Thank you,” glares at the Bartender. “Please, call me Alonzo.”
“In that case … I'm Eric, Alonzo.”
Suddenly -- all eyes turn toward the door -- an attractive young woman walks
in and heads straight to the bar.
Alonzo watches as the woman GRACIOUSLY approaches.
Turning to Eric, “hope there's a boxing match this weekend.”
“Strange, you don't strike me like the boxing type.”
“Eric, Mike Tyson was the man to beat ...” gently sips his chilled Heineken. “...
But it's all Floyd Mayweather now. He romances the glass, “Mayweather's pound for
pound --” Rather -- in a split second -- Alonzo reacts instantaneously when the young
woman stops and places her hands all over him.
