"Don't tell me you drive all the way from the airport to --"
"-- No ... We moved closer to John Creek," she interjects. We tried contacting
you, but Uber wouldn't give us your contact information."
"I'm with McDaniel Family Foundation," Alonzo reaches for his inside pocket,
retrieves a business card, and hands it to her.
Sheila glares at the card. "Wow ... Executive director and CEO."
"Congratulations. Bryana will be happy to hear this."
"It would be nice to see her again." "Maybe during the Holidays when my
daughter visits," Alonzo adds.
"That would be great," Sheila responds. "So, what are you doing here?"
"Alpharetta is quite a drive from here."
"Thought I'd visit another MVA victim, but the Information Desk wouldn't let
me without a specific name."
"Why don't we head to my floor. I'll see if I could get that info for you," she
adds as they take the elevator.
Moments later, Sheila locates the Biker's room, and without a breech in the
patient's confidential information, she only identifies the room number. Alonzo
heads to the Recovery Unit and makes a stop at the Nurses' Station. He exchanges a
brief pleasantry with the nurses, signs in as a guest.
