income students.
✓ 160 of 297 students.
▪ 36% of SUF credentials awarded since 2009 were earned by low-to-moderate
income students.
✓ 3,277 of 8,995 credentials.
▪ 46% of the 2013-2014 SUF enrollment was low-to-moderate income
students.
✓ 4,644 of 10,007 students.
Implementation of the new BSN-RN program this fall semester and having a
new regional Health and Science training facility in 2015 will allow for more
engagement with underserved populations.
Your investment of $150,000 per year for two (2) years in the Health and
Science program will have a tremendous impact on the future of our students,
economic growth of this region, and fulfillment of health care workforce
needs in our community. This support will enable SUF to pay the salaries of
two (2) faculty members to train and educate future health care workers. I
