Gift Pyramid
Moving forward, and in a short span, Alonzo created a Gift Pyramid as well
as designed and implemented a Faculty & Staff committee, a Pipeline for
Identifying and Recruiting Major Gift prospects, a Major Gift program, a Gift Plan
program, a Gift Plan committee, a Legacy Society, and Recognition Societies, and a
Board Recruitment package. Also, he coordinated the university’s first ever Board
Retreat, including SU Foundation Strategic Plan. In addition to the above, Alonzo
meets with, recruits and introduces to the Board an estate attorney, a certified
financial analyst (CFA), and an insurance executive. These three professionals were
