Community colleges are subject to special requirements under Sections 453 and
th
468. Public buildings for use as instructional areas for subjects beyond the 12
grade fall under group B. Religious educational rooms and religious auditoriums
that are accessory to places of religious worship can still be classified as A-3
structures, provided the occupancy load is fewer than 100.

Classification Group F—Factory Industrial
Group F structures are those that are used for assembling, disassembling,
fabricating, finishing, manufacturing, packaging, repair or processing operations
that are not classified as a Group H (hazardous) or Group S (storage).
Group F is divided into two sub classification of industrial structures. These are:
F-1: Moderate-hazard
This includes but is not limited to factories for the manufacture
of:
Aircraft (manufacturing, not repair)
Appliances
Athletic equipment
Automobiles and other motor vehicles
Bakeries
Beverages; over 16-percent alcohol content
Bicycles
Boats
Brooms or brushes
Business machines
Cameras and photo equipment
