Classification Group E—Educational
Buildings or areas in which six or more students gather at any one time for
th
educational purposes (through the 12 grade) are classified as Group E or
Educational.
Group E, daycare facilities, includes buildings and structures (or portions of those)
occupied by more than five children older than 2 ½ years old, who receive
educational, supervision, or personal care services for fewer than 24 hours a day.
