Classification Group H—High-Hazard
Buildings or building areas that are designated for the manufacturing, storing,
processing, or generation of materials and pose a physical or health hazard in
quantities exceeding those permitted in control areas (according to Section 414 of
the Florida Building Code, which also regulates hazardous materials) are classified
as Group H. Detailed information about material types and quantities and how they
affect the designation of a structure can be found in Sections 307, 414 and 415 of
the 2014 Florida Building Code as well as in the Florida Fire Prevention Code.
