MixerDirect has a wide selection of lab impellers of almost any conceivable geometry. Low shear
impellers, small axial and radial flow turbine, Teflon impellers with stainless core, anchor paddles,
miniature folding paddles. All impellers are 316SS.
Our folding impellers are medium shear, special purpose impellers sized to fit into standard container
openings. Folding impellers allow a manufacturer to get a large impeller into a closed container. 4” LIM0A130
and 7” impellers can fold down to fit through a 2” NPT fitting and 10”, 12” and 14” impellers can fit
through a 6” NPT like that on an IBC Tote. Some efficiency is sacrificed in this process, but sufficient
agitation can now be accomplished in areas that were otherwise inaccessible to mixing equipment.
