Job Description
                         For Student Volunteers from Guam Community College’s Marketing Program


                         Age Group:  High School Sophomores to Seniors

                         Grade attainment:  B average or higher

                         Objective:  Provide for an opportunity for students in the program to gain an insight and
                         exposure to what working life is like and develop a skill set to help them in obtaining credits
                         required for the GCC Marketing Program.


                         Reporting process/Supervision:

                         Students report directly to the JA Guam Executive Director.

                         Students will meet virtually, at a minimum two days per week, with the Executive Director,
                         Board Chairperson, or his/her designee.  The weekly meeting will be hosted, preferably,
                         during the first day of the week.  The meeting is held to provide instructional guidance for
                         the week, work on upgrading and honing skills, discuss activities, and assign tasks.  A wrap up
                         meeting session will be held at the end of the week for the students to provide their
                         presentation outcomes for the week and discuss improvements as well as learnings.


                         Work hours and recording of time:

                         Students will work remotely through the virtual realm, a minimum of two hours a day, five
                         days a week, to a maximum of four hours per day.

                         Students will be provided a log in sheet to record and track their working hours and will
                         submit the file to the Executive Director on a weekly basis.

                         Evaluation:

                         Evaluation or progress reports will be provided to the students through a virtual session
                         monthly.


                         Expectations:

                         Although students will be working from home through a remote site, students entering the
                         program will be required to have computer or mobile phones with internet capabilities to
                         engage in the virtual environment.  At a minimum, skills in social media and email will be
                         required.
