Students must be presentable and act in a professional manner when participating in the
work program. At a minimum, a nicely pressed top and bottom attire, well-groomed and
well-mannered.
Scope of work:
Digital Media
Students will be responsible to learn and adapt to an ever-changing environment in the
digital age. The students will be participating in the JA Company Program conducting virtual
interviews with the advisors, officers, and student members. Taking digital photos of the
subject and group.
Students will write-up articles, video record, edit and post on the social media pages of JA
Guam.
Students will document the journey of each company as well as his/her own journey during
their experience which will be posted on the JA Guam website.
Students will learn how a podcast is hosted, edit pre-recorded materials from the podcasts to
enhance the visual effects, upload and manage content through the virtual apps.
All social media information will be presented to the Executive Director of JA Guam before
posting to the social media pages to ensure quality and accuracy of information provide.
Other basic tasks may be assigned to the students including:
• Remote clerical work,
• article write-up,
• publications,
• sales/marketing calls,
• e-mail blasts,
• inventory
• creating and updating an e-commerce site or page for JA Guam,
• working with other JA Guam Company Program to promote their products,
• research on improving virtual experiences with available apps,
• and other tasks deemed appropriate for the age range and experience of the
student.
