The Journal at 50
The College scienti c journal Pathology celebrated 50 years of publication in 2018.
The journal was the focus of the RCPA booth at Pathology Update 2018 and a new award was presented at the annual Presentation of New Fellows and Awards Ceremony, namely the RCPA Pathology Article of the Year Award. Pathology Editor, Prof Brett Delahunt was the invited speaker at the event in honour of the journal’s anniversary.
The impact factor has reached its highest ever gure of 3.068 and the number and quality of submissions continue to increase. Collaboration with the journal publisher, Elsevier, contributed to the online accessibility and international reach of Pathology. The Editor and Editorial Board
are pleased that the journal is representing the College so successfully both in Australia and overseas.
