Director of Nursing Awards
The fantas c care provided by our nurses, midwives, healthcare assistants and allied health professionals was celebrated at our annual Director of Nursing Awards in July.
317 nomina ons ooded in from rela ves and former pa ents and the winners were announced at the gli ering awards ceremony. This event is the highlight in our calendar and the awards mean a great deal to our sta .

Spring 2016 engagement - Your views are important to us
Over eight weeks in the spring we asked our members, our sta , pa ent groups and the public to let us know their views on a broad range of topics about our services and future plans.

Improved parking facili es at Royal Hampshire County Hospital
We have now installed barriers on the pa ent levels of the mul -storey car park at our hospital in Winchester to help pa ents and visitors park more easily. Paying for parking when you are ready to leave rather than guessing how long you will be has also been introduced along with a new tari . These measures will discourage drivers who are not going to the hospital, which frees up space for pa ents a ending appointments and people visi ng sick rela ves.
