The above is a website I constructed some years ago now but
is definitely well out of date. I have made some attempts to
keep it up-to-date but not for some time now and a number of
the contacts need revising. Please remember that I am very
much an amateur at writing websites

If you are outside the UK, will you please check the details below for your country and let
me know of any changes or additions. Will the new group in Sweden please take note of
this as I especially wish to include you? For those in the UK, please do the same check.
Email addresses are particularly important! But I will no
longer include any postal addresses unless I am specifically
asked. I will also create a new listing for the World Council Sec-
retary Rachel Cordy, so that any new countries have someone
to approach about our sport and what is needed to join the rest
of the World. Please note, I write my websites in HTML1, which
is certainly “Old hat” these days but it still works.
Keeping in contact and continuing to grow as a World
sport is very important to our long term future. If you know of any
country that plays or is beginning to play, no matter how small,
please let me know. I have just contacted someone in the Falk-
lands as they play at Stanley Leisure Centre. I have also emailed Bowls Singapore. For some time
they have had a Short Mat page “Under Construction”.
They have used Short Mat bowls to introduce people to outdoor bowling. I printed a magazine
article in the autumn 2013 issue. I hope they reply but we will see as I have contacted them previously
with no success. You must remember that whilst we take our sport very seriously, other codes of
bowls do not.
