Third place went to Scotland’s Bill Fraser, Debbie Cochrane & Scott White with 14 points and +22.
Whilst Ireland’s John Mumaghan, John & Stephen McMahon were on 12 points +42.
In group B, Ireland’s Trevor Workman, Jordan & Alan Rankin did a lot better and were in dev-
astating undefeated form finishing first on 18 points and with an astonishing plus of 141. Second
place was taken by Llian Llewelyn, Peter Rees & Andrew Jones on 14 points and +62. Third place
went to England, with Craig Strong, Jon Pitcher & Ross Dunkley, who also scored 14 points but
their lower shots plus of 52 cost them second place. On 12 points, Lewis Rennie, Jimmy Broatch &
Gary Stewart finished a respectable fourth with a good plus of 80.
The semi-finals saw Norway’s Gunnar Frantzen, Olav Jeremiassen & Ferdinand Frantzen
being eliminated by the Welsh trio of Llian Llewelyn, Peter Rees & Andrew Jones. In the other semi-
final the Irish team of Trevor Workman, Jordan & Alan Rankin were beaten by England’s Craig Strong,
Jon Pitcher & Ross Dunkley. What followed was another very close final, with the Welsh just edging
the final 8 - 7 over the English. 3rd place went to Norway’s Gunnar Frantzen, Olav Jeremiassen &
Ferdinand Frantzen, with a 13 - 8 result over Ireland’s Trevor Workman, Jordan & Alan Rankin.

In group A the Irish quartet of DJ Wilson, Eddie Cambell, Jonny Wilson & Andrew Leckey were an-
other undefeated team winning all of their 8 games with a plus of 79. England’s Paul Pomeroy, Tom
Perris, James Smith & Sam Harvey finished second on 14 points +32 with their only defeat by the
Irish. Scotland’s Stuart Anderson, Andrew Adamson, Andrew Kelly & Alex Higgins took third place
just 2 points behind and a plus of 48. A further 2 points behind in 4th place for Wales were Aled
Humphreys, Jac Edwards, Chris McWinnie & Nick Evans on 10 points +51.
In group B, Ireland’s Eddie Curran, Daniel O’Kane, Michel Gallagher & John Quinn suffered
only one defeat, to Scotland scoring their 14 points +97.Eor k England’s Danney Hogben, AJ Brown,
Ryan Knight & Adam Smith also stuttered against Scotland with a 9 all draw to finish second a point
less than Ireland on 13 +69. Third placed Scotland‘s Stuart Hiddleston, Kevin Peacock, Murray Mas-
son & Sandy McDonald, can consider themselves as unlucky having done so well against Ireland
and England but they suffered a defeat to Wales, finishing on 11 points +59. The win over Scotland
helped Cennydd Howels, James John Davies, Richard Arran & Sean Hughes.
In the semi-finals, Ireland’s Eddie Curran, Daniel O’Kane, Michel Gallagher & John Quinn
eliminated England’s Paul Pomeroy, Tom Perris, James Smith & Sam Harvey, whilst England’s other
four Danney Hogben, AJ Brown, Ryan Knight & Adam Smith beat the other Irish four of DJ Wilson,
Eddie Cambell, Jonny Wilson & Andrew Leckey.
