In group B Wales finished top with Alan Edwards & Dafydd Howells scoring 14 points and a plus of
              67. A one shot to Ireland and a 2 shot loss to England almost cost them top spot. The importance of
Ireland’s win by Declan McCann & Kevin McNamee got them to second place with the same points
but one shot less with a plus of 66. England finished third with 13 points and a plus of 61. What cost
them was a drawn game of 13 - 13 against Scotland’s Alan Masson & Graeme Allen, which helped
              them into third place.
After the semi-final were completed Wales Alan Edwards & Dafydd Howells had been elimi-
nated by Ireland’s Kieran & Sean Trainor but the other Welsh pair of Jonathon Gladstone & Andrew
Hudson who were successful against Ireland’s Declan McCann & Kevin McNamee. In the final, the
welsh pair proved too good for Ireland, winning 13 - 9 in another relatively close final. 3rd place went
to Ireland’s Declan McCann & Kevin McNamee, who beat the Welsh pair of Alan Edwards & Dafydd
              Howells with a comfortable 12 - 6 scoreline.
