The Presentation Evening of the Shogun Competitions was
held at Costa's Taverna, Koloni and Paphos. This is the sec-
ond year in a row Costa's Taverna has hosted the Shogun
presentation evening and once again proved to be a hit with
those attending.
The evening began with the presentation of prizes to
the runners-up and winners by Tom Hudson, one of the Shogun's "senior" citizens. The pre-
sentations were followed by a delicious meze, and
then followed by the Dominoes tournament got un-
derway. A mixture of skills was on display but the
aim of the evening was one of enjoyment with win-
ning and losing of secondary importance.

won both the Triples and the Mixed
Triples events
The Dominoes were followed by a marathon raf-
fle where every table had at least one prize due to
the generosity of prizes donated. Proceeds from
the raffle along with the funds from the Shogun
lending library, amounted to just under 300 euros.
This was rounded up to 350 euros from Shogun
funds, and this sum will shortly be presented to the
Friends Hospice of Paphos.
