Agenda Item 11. Report of the President – Robert A. Kutcher
a. Leadership LSBA 2019/2020
Mr. Kutcher reported that applications were being accepted until July 5 and encouraged Board
members to nominate young lawyers for the class.

b. Committee Appointments
Mr. Kutcher reported that he would be making appointments this month.

c. 2019/2020 Board of Governors Meeting Calendar
Mr. Kutcher referred members to the meeting calendar and asked Board members to mark
their calendars for all meetings.

d. 2020 Midyear Meeting – Thursday, January 16 through Saturday, January 18 at the
Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel
Mr. Kutcher announced the dates and location of the Midyear Meeting.

e. Other Matters
Mr. Kutcher thanked all Board members for attending the Annual Meeting/Summer School
and asked them to provide feedback on the CLE programming.

Agenda Item 12. Report of the President-Elect – Alainna R. Mire
a. 2020 Annual Meeting/Joint Summer School with Louisiana Judicial College at
Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort – Sunday, June 7 through Friday, June 12
Ms. Mire announced the dates of the 2020 Annual Meeting/Summer School for Lawyers and
Judges and encouraged all to plan to attend.

b. 2020-2021 Board of Governors/YLD Council Orientation – Thursday, April 30 through
Sunday, May 3, at Grand Hotel Marriott, Resort, Golf Club & Spa
Ms. Mire announced the date of the orientation and asked all continuing Board members to
mark their calendars and plan to attend.

Agenda Item 13. Report of the Treasurer – Shayna L. Sonnier
Ms. Sonnier reported that all items were covered elsewhere in the agenda.
Agenda Item 14. Report of the Secretary – Patrick A. Talley, Jr.
Mr. Talley asked Board members to send him any suggestions for additions to the Louisiana Bar
Journal Editorial Board.
