Mr. Grodsky congratulated Mr. Kutcher on a successful Annual Meeting/Summer School. He also
reported that the LSBA and others were instrumental in securing $500,000 in state funding for
Louisiana’s Legal Service Corporation programs.

Agenda Item 16. Report of the Young Lawyers Division Chair – Scott L. Sternberg
Mr. Sternberg reported on upcoming YLD initiatives, including two Wills for Heroes events later in
June, as well as plans to take the successful YLD/SLD seminar on the road.

Agenda Item 17. Report of the Executive Director – Loretta Larsen
Ms. Larsen noted that additional information on the August Board meeting and related events would
be sent to all members in the near future. She also announced that there would be a reception in honor
of 2019-2020 ABA President (and LSBA member) Judy Perry Martinez on the evening of Saturday,
August 24, in New Orleans.

Agenda Item 18. Report of the Associate Executive Director – Cheri Cotogno Grodsky
Ms. Grodsky referred members to her written report and encouraged Board members to volunteer for
the 1L professionalism programs.
