The re-imagined Stevenson Hall will
bring together multiple academic 25000
departments in a collaborative, modern 2035
setting. Peeling away the original
concrete walls and enclosing an
underused courtyard with a glass roof 2030
dissolves the building’s heaviness and 20000
lends brightness to the interior spaces.

Lessons Learned
1 Look for potential opportunities to 15000
re-use existing building features.
Existing precast panels were re-used 2020
in our design.
2 Locate new structural work to allow 10000
easy access for heavy equipment.
This will save on schedule and cost.
