                                                                                                                                   Monst ers sneak underneat h your bed,
                                   There are creepy chuckles and cries of laught er,
                                                                                                                                   While your pillow ?s ?neat h your head.
                                   As t he midnight  owl hoot s away.
                                                                                                                                   You wait  and yearn for day t o rise,
                                   I hear t hese, sounds as I st roll t hrough t he neighborhood.
                                                                                                                                   As scary faces appear in your eyes.
                                   Shadows lurk underneat h t he weeping t rees,                                                   You wear a mask,
                                   While t he bat s fly high int o t he night .                                                    To t ake on a t ask.

                                   Sensing t hese t hings makes me shiver.                                                         The collect or wait s wit hin,

                                   Fires burn a bit t er, but  sweet  pumpkin spice candle,                                        A munchy monst er underneat h your skin.
                                   while t he sweet , aut umn breeze blows t hrough t he wind.                                     Candy fills t he basket  in your hand.

                                   Sniffing out  t hese scent s, makes me feel as if I were a Werewolf.                            Then you t ravel t o a looney land.
                                   The candy st icks t o my hands,                                                                 Halloween comes and goes,

                                   as I feel t he concret e and rocks underneat h my cold feet .                                   But  as midnight  comes t he monst ers who arose,

                                   Wandering t hrough t he st reet s my body get s more numb.                                      Run back int o t he shadows.

                                                                                                                                                                     It  was like a billion degrees below zero.
         You get  a feeling; somet hing is wat ching you
                                                                                                                                                                      Black cat s were roaming t he st reet s.
         Looking around, you see not hing but  darkness,
                                                                                                                                                                        Full moon was lurking in t he sky.
         Cont inuing t hrough t he cemet ery wit h worries,
                                                                                                                                                              Screams were echoing t hroughout  t he neighborhood.
         You hear a howl in t he background; you begin t o shiver,
                                                                                                                                                        Appet izing warm bakery t reat s all ready for t he t rick-or-t reat ers.
         An eerie sound comes from behind a t ree,
                                                                                                                                                                    As I t ake a slow walk t hrough t he woods,
         You begin t o walk fast er and fast er unt il
                                                                                                                                         I could hear t he galloping of hooves, but  unaware about  which direct ion t hey were coming from.
         You t rip on a branch and hear noises surrounding you
                                                                                                                                                        In t he dist ance, I could see a horse wit h a man on it , but  no head!
         Noises you have never heard before,
                                                                                                                                                            I ran t he ot her direct ion as fast  as my legs could t ake me.
         You see a shadow creeping up on you
                                                                                                                                                   As I depart ed t he woods, t he last  sound I heard was a snort  from t he horse,
         You fear t hat  t his will be t he end of you                                                                                                        and it  almost  blew my ent ire ear off. It  was t hat  loud!
         A t ouch on your shoulder and you scream                                                                                                                 Sweat  was gushing down t he side of my head.

         When t o find out  it ?s only a dream.                                                                                                                 My heart  was beat ing like a million miles an hour.

                                                                                                                                                             I was parched. I was so t errified, I went  st raight  t o bed.
